The National Transport Plan provides the basis for which transport infrastructure should be built in the country. It ad-dresses the 3 priority modes and that includes wharves and jetties, airports and airstrips and roads and bridges. The transport sector has an important role to build climate resilient infrastructures through incorporation of appropriate cli-mate change considerations into the designing and implementation of infrastructure projects and therefore linked to this Policy.
