Papua New Guinea's National Climate Change Policy document.
The National Weather Service (NWS) will provide timely information on climate variability and changes in weather pat-terns. It will improve its capacity to promote efficiency in weather forecasting and climate predictions on different time scales, so the country can respond effectively to any potential impacts, such as extreme climatic events (cyclones, precipita-tion variations leading to flood or drought), sea level rise or any other impact of climate change. Climate data recording must be improved to monitor climate change implications.
