CCDA Partakes in TIPNG organized 15th  Sir Anthony Siaguru Walk Against Corruption (SASWAC).

The Climate Change and Development Authority was one of the proud organizations to take part in the Transparency International PNG’s (PNGTI) organized annual 15th Sir Anthony Siaguru Walk Against Corruption (SASWAC) on Sunday 15th of June 2025.
The walk was led by Dame Meg Taylor and staunch advocate for integrity and transparency and board director of TIPNG.
Early Sunday morning, the Acting Managing Director for CCDA Ms. Debra Sungi and staff joined like-minded Papua New Guineans at the Sir John Guise stadium and took to the streets around the precinct to demonstrate their support for the walked themed, “Integrity and Acting Now’.
Ms. Sungi stressed that transparency and integrity boils comes down to each and every individual to play his/her part to ensure PNG is on the right part as we celebrate our 50th Golden Jubilee in the coming months and going forward.
According to TIPNG CEO Ms. Arianne Kassman this year’s participation was impressive given the fact that, 88 corporate and government agency teams, 50 school teams, 3 SME teams, 21 Civil Society Organizations, and 25 family teams participated in the walk.
