The Executive Office oversees the overall operations of the Authority and supports the Managing Director, who also serves as the National Designated Authority (NDA) to the Green Climate Fund (GCF). The office includes the Legal Counsel and NDA unit, which coordinate access to domestic, bilateral, and international climate finance proposals.

Core Functions:

  • Oversight of all technical divisions and corporate services.
  • Coordination of national climate change governance systems.
  • Provision of legal support and internal audit services.
  • Public relations and performance reporting.

  1. Strengthen governance structures for climate change under the UNFCCC mechanisms.
  2. Improve policy frameworks and regulations for climate and development integration.
