The Climate Change and Development Authority (CCDA) is Papua New Guinea's leading agency driving climate action and sustainable development. It works to mitigate climate impacts, promote resilience, and integrate environmental sustainability into national policies and community initiatives.
The Executive Office oversees the overall operations of the Authority and supports the Managing Director, who also serves as the National Designated Authority (NDA) to the Green Climate Fund (GCF). The office includes the Legal Counsel and NDA unit, which coordinate access to domestic, bilateral, and international climate finance proposals.
